GWM debuts on BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Chinese Brands list

Well-known marketing research agency Millward Brown recently released the BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Chinese Brands list, on which GWM made its debut in 61st position.

Worth $464.2 billion in total, the 100 Chinese brands on the list have shown substantial growth in recent years. Tencent, Alibaba and China Mobile occupied the top three positions on the list, whilst eight brands including GWM, Alibaba and TCL appeared on the list for the first time.

Millward Brown rightly noted that there is a vast difference in the way foreign and Chinese consumers perceive Chinese brands. However, it pointed out that Chinese brands offer three key advantages: high cost performance, internationalisation and innovation.

In 2015 alone, Great Wall Motors has had a presence on the Brand Finance Auto 100, 2015 Forbes Global 2000 and Fortune Global 500 lists. By appearing on the BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Chinese Brands list, it has once again proven that the brand continues to make waves globally.
