GWM set to make its mark at the Royal Show

GWM South Africa will be out in full force at the Royal Agricultural Show in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal from 29 May to 9 June 2015. Cited as the largest mixed exhibition with a fully-fledged agricultural component in Africa, the Royal Show attracts some 180 000 visitors each year.

The show, which was officially opened by the Prince of Wales in 1925, offers something of interest to all age groups – from fine livestock and state-of-the-art farming equipment, to a range of ancillary activities and displays that represent the industrial, commercial and service sectors within the province.

Customers from an agricultural background continue to be of significant importance to the GWM brand in South Africa. As such, a show of this nature provides the ideal platform for GWM to engage with farmers and the broader public alike in a relaxed yet well-organised setting (KZN is home to the broadest demographic representation in South Africa and the Royal Show therefore provides a unique opportunity to engage the market).

During the 2015 show, GWM will be showcasing its new bakkie range featuring the 2.2 Single Cab Workhorse, WGT Double Cab 4x2 Diesel, Steed 5E Double Cab 4x2, Steed 6 Double Cab 4x2, as well as the H5 2.4 Lux SUV and H6 Diesel SUV.

GWM will be represented by its local dealerships, and sales staff will be on hand throughout the show to meet and greet the public, as well as introduce them to GWM’s great value for money bakkie and SUV offering.

The GWM team looks forward to attending this annual highlight on the agricultural calendar, and using the opportunity to share its “great cars, great value” proposition with the South African public.
