GWM - Part Of The Family
GWM owners rate their vehicles as part of the family. This much is clear following viewing of the entries of our recent "Holiday snaps" competition, in which entrants could win a high-quality 1:18 scale-model GWM H6. Have a look at the following gallery, as well as the owners' comments on their vehicles, and see for yourself!
ABRIE SMITH - We were in Margate on holiday in July / August 2014. We were having dinner at Larry's and when we came out my H5 looked stunning in the dark with the lighted palm trees and ocean in the back ground. I love my H5 as it is good value and have lots of space and luxuries. We have twins so there is ample space for the double trouble. My next one will hopefully be the H6, love it!
LOUIS D'AUBREY - I have to send a picture of my previous Steed from our holiday last year December. Picture was taken en route to Bela Bela. I see the competition ends before my next holiday with my upgraded Steed 5. I love my Steed, I love the questions that I get asked about it, and I love the fact that the trusty Steed is always seen as the underdog and never fails to surprise. I miss this old Steed so much, it was my very first double cab. My new Steed, my very first 4x4. My wife's Florid, her very first car.
ANNELIEN JANSEN VAN VUUREN - This is my Steed 5, 2.2 MPi, I bought it new last year. I am so happy with it, I wanted an affordable good-looking vehicle that can tow our two quad bikes. I am still a very happy customer and the after service at GWM Boksburg is also very good. Here is my Steed in Oranjeville in September this year, with the two quads. Very sexy Bakkie!
PIETER KRUGER - My lovely Steed 5 2.5, done a lot on it and with it…. and still running strong. Photo taken in Hartebees on our way to Hartebeeshoek to camp!
PIETER KUYPER - Love the shape and luxury of my Steed 5 4x4. I also put new mag wheels on. I previously drove an Isuzu, but I love my new "lorrie". Photo taken near Bronkhorstspruit.
LYNETTE MEYBURGH - Since we bought our GWM 4x4 double cab 'bakkie' (Desert Series) 4 years ago, we created a lot of memories and had a lot of fun. It is our towing, weekend and 'langpad' car. We just love our very good-looking bakkie.
MAURITZ DE BEER - My Steed 5 has 110 000 kilometres on the clock in 3 years. It's not only a luxurious family bakkie but a workhorse for the farm as well. Loading two tons on the bakkie and trailer and pulling strong with nohHassle. Will upgrade to the Steed 6, for I'm a GWM Fan for Life!
ELIJAH EN DUBE - Out in Hammanskraal's dusty roads. I had always wanted to have a double cab but could not afford most of the double cabs on the SA market. With its affordable prices, GWM made my dream come true. I love my Steed 5 2.2Mpi to bits.
CHRISTIAN VAN STADEN - Having some fun in my GWM Hover on some 4x4 track.
WALTER CASQUERIA - The photo was taken at the Hobbie Park in Krugersdorp. It was a fun day organized by the gwm4x4club for its members. What I love about my bakkie is that it's one of a kind and always manages to hold its chin up high even when playing with the big boys. And she's a head turner!
SIDNEY GALLOWAY - My Steed in action at Melkbos 4x4 close to Cape Town. I bought my Steed 5 d/cab 2.4 4x4 in November 2013 and took it to Melkbos 4x4 to see what it can do. I was really impressed with the 4x4 capabilities.
ULANDA KLAASEN - Zaydene and Bo with our family's Hover. "Daddy, we love this car, please get us the scale model!"
